Description
I came across a beautiful photo by Davenit tonight. [link]
I quote him:
"Somewhere, Illinois, USA. Just stumbled across this place.
I think I am the only one who knows it exists. Funny story though...
I took a bad fall on some wet rocks before I took this and cracked my tailbone. New it was busted. Hurt real bad. Figured 'what the heck' so I set up the shot and took it. The 2 mile hike back to the car was a very bad thing, not to mention the 2 hour drive I had to get home... LOL."
I know this waterfall well. This is known by the locals as Bork's Waterfall. (Don't worry Dave, our location will remain secret.) I'm sorry to hear about your tailbone, and next time you visit, I'll let you in on the secret path that makes your walk less than 1/4 mile back to the car.
Dave's photo is stunning and one of my favorites.
