Devious Journal Entry

Mon Jun 15, 2009, 10:34 PM
  • Mood: Isolated
  • Listening to: Systems/Layers - Rachel's
Some journals are harder to write when you want to share things about yourself but you don't want anyone to pity you. That is all I can write on the subject tonight.

You're welcome! In fact I am having a great summer. I'm getting ready to leave for Japan on Wednesday! Have a great summer yourself!

Your photos are fantastic!! Where are you located? Most hospitals here now are so heavily patrolled youre arrested before you even get in. *sob*
Thank you. Right now I'm located in Birmingham, AL, but I live in various places around the country, as my pictures suggest. An abandoned hospital is a very rare find in most areas, but other structures are abundant. I've always wanted to visit the former asylums of the Northeast.

I was recently kicked out of the mental institutions in Medfield, MA. That was over the summer - I believe its been torn down now - but there were multiple buildings and my god they were beautiful.

I had my usual bag with me..the camera, flashlight, lighter, some first aid stuff and a crowbar, and a cop found me in one of the high grass fields because the wind was blowing. :(
Luckily he said just to get out of there, since that place was State Property, but I was denied access and all buildings were put on patrol afterwards..such a shame. :/
Thanks for the comment, and also refering another persons work. He has a pretty amazing looking portfolio.

Every action you take is, in some way, important. Act Wisely.
So I was in the trap room of the Ohio Theatre the other night, waiting for my cue light for the fog machine, and I was staring off into the swirling wisps like usual when I had a thought. I thought to myself, wouldn't it be cool to use a fog machine in photography some how? It would add something very unique to a say a model shot. Then I thought I should tell that Tony Crawford guy about my idea, he could easily borrow one or two from some friends. So there it is and now I expect to see something soon. :D
I accept your challenge, Fritz. See you on the other side.

So... until now, I haven't really seen any of your stuff. And I gotta say, I envy your talent, sir. How's the South treating you?
